Intro0:00

Payments is how money reaches you. Four sections. Receive ACH rent payments, bank sync, payment methods, and rent collection options. On a fresh account, the first one starts here. ACH needs the service agreement reviewed and accepted. Then the checklist, connect Stripe, sign the agreement, and turn on accept ACH from tenants. Open setup, wizard walks the three steps.

Once Stripe is connected0:24

Once Stripe is connected, the section opens up. Stripe dashboard jumps to your payout account. Refresh status rechecks it. Accept ACH from tenants is the master switch. Off and the tenant portal won't offer bank payments, and Stripe ACH won't appear in payment method drop downs, while Stripe stays connected underneath. Deposit refund bank connects the account you send security deposit refunds from, so it move out one click, sends the deposit back by ACH.

ACH Processing Fee0:54

Each ACH payment carries a small processing fee, and you choose who pays it for all ACH tenants. The tenant added on top of rent. You deducted from your payout, in which case an expense receipt is auto-created for every payment, so it's deductible. Or split 50-50.

Fee rules · Enrollment1:12

Two override rules, regardless of that choice. A bounced payment means the tenant pays the full fee on the retry, and when tenant credits reduce a balance, you absorb the fee. Then tenant ACH enrollment controls how tenants get on a bank payments in their portal.

Enrollment modes · Setup fee1:29

Three modes. Tenants can enable ACH themselves. They see an enable bank payments button, and switch instantly. Require my approval. They see request set up, and you get an email to approve or deny each one. Or I'll set up ACH manually. Nothing is offered to tenants, and you switch each one on from the tenants page. Tenants already on ACH can always switch back to manual. Below that, the ACH account setup fee. A small bank verification fee tenants pay when they link a new bank, managed by the platform.

Bank Sync2:02

Bank sync is separate from ACH. It reads your bank accounts, and turns transactions into expense receipts on their own. Two banks are included with the plan. Connect bank account starts the secure link, and connected accounts lists what's attached.

Payment Methods2:17

Payment methods are the apps tenants pay you with from a rent reminder, in one tap. Each row is a method. The star makes it the default, edit, and dell do what they say. And you can assign different methods to different tenants from the tenants page.

Add Payment Method2:32

Add payment method. Pick the app Venmo, Zell, Cash app, PayPal, or a payment portal URL, enter the handle, and give it an optional label like business PayPal. Save and every future reminder and bill carries the button.

Rent Collection Options2:47

Rent collection options are three switches, saved with the save button. Cash receipts generates a formal signed receipt for offline payments, cash, check, or money order, and the tenant signs electronically to confirm. Simple rent roll is for landlords who collect by hand. One tap paid, paid late and collect fee, or paid late and waive fee on every card, with no date pickers or billing panels. And rent reconciliation. With it on, marking rent paid is your reconciliation. Rent looking bank deposits clear automatically, and the verify step checks that totals balance instead of nagging about individual deposits. Bank review still runs for expenses, transfers, and unknown money. Get LandlordPro. Free to try. The address is on your screen.
