How do I add my first property?

Click the "Add Property" button on the Dashboard or Assets page. You can use the guided wizard for step-by-step setup, or Advanced Mode if you prefer to enter all details at once. You'll need the property address, type, and optionally purchase details.

How do SMS rent reminders work?

SMS reminders are available on paid plans. Once enabled, your tenants will receive automatic text messages before rent is due. You can customize the timing (e.g., 3 days before due date) and message content. Tenants can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

What are AI scan credits?

AI scan credits let you automatically extract data from receipts and invoices using our AI scanner. Simply upload or photograph a receipt, and we'll extract the vendor, amount, date, and category. Each scan uses one credit. Credits refresh monthly on paid plans.

Can I import data from a spreadsheet?

Yes! On the Receipts page, click "Import CSV" to bulk-import expense data. Your CSV should include columns for date, vendor, amount, and category. We'll map your columns automatically and let you review before importing.

How do I track mortgage payments?

Open any property's details, then click "Mortgage Details". Enter your loan amount, interest rate, term, and start date. LandlordPro will calculate your amortization schedule, track your equity buildup, and show your remaining balance over time.

What's included in each pricing tier?

Free: 1 property, 4 units, manual receipt entry.
Starter ($12/mo): Up to 10 units, 20 AI scans/month, SMS reminders.
Pro ($24/mo): Up to 25 units, 50 AI scans/month, priority support.
Property Manager ($49/mo): Up to 100 units, 150 AI scans/month, API access.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings > Subscription and click "Manage Subscription". You can downgrade or cancel anytime. Your data remains accessible, but you'll lose access to premium features. If you cancel, you'll retain access until the end of your billing period.
