Intro0:00

Business and documents starts with the business profile, the single most reused thing in LandlordPro. Business or company name, or leave it blank to use your own name. Formal name on documents decides whether the business or your personal name leads on notices, leases, and tenant messages. Business phone, mailing address, which is what prints as your address on leases and notices. Business email if it should differ from your login. And time zone, which schedules rent reminders and stamp signatures.

Where the profile goes0:31

Everything in that card is copied out automatically. Into every lease and its review step, the business card in the tenant portal, notices and court packets, rent reminders and bills, rent and cash receipts, the application form and screening emails, the tenant and vendor portals, and report headers. Fix it here once and every future document is right.

Lease Document Settings0:53

Lease document settings holds three things that appear on lease agreements, each in its own foldout. Security deposit escrow, where deposits are held, required on Pennsylvania leases. An optional signing agent, someone who signs leases on your behalf. An optional contacts printed on lease.

Escrow · Signing Agent1:11

Escrow is just the financial institution's name and address. The lease wizard's deposit step arrives filled in, and the Pennsylvania deposit bank notice is generated from it. The signing agent takes a full name, email and optional phone. When it's set, each lease asks who will sign, you or your agent. The agent receives the signing link and signs on your behalf, and the lease still shows your name as the landlord.

Contacts Printed on Lease1:37

Contacts printed on lease. A maintenance request contact with name, phone and email, and an emergency contact for after hours with name and phone. Leave them blank, and the lease prints your business info for both. Fill them in, and they also become the maintenance and emergency lines tenants see in their portal.

Tenant Portal Contacts1:56

Tenant portal contacts controls what tenants see in their portal. Automatically invite new tenants, sends the set up your tenant portal email on the day a new lease starts. The same when the send button sends, never re-sent to people already invited. Show My Business info puts the business profile card on the portal, exactly as previewed here. Additional contacts is anyone else they should be able to reach.

Add Contact2:21

Add contact. A type such as property manager, maintenance or emergency. The name and optional company, phone, email and a note tenants see, like available weekdays 9 to 5. Show this contact on tenant portal puts it live, and every contact gets a save to contacts button on the tenants phone. Get LandlordPro. Free to try. The address is on your screen.
