Affiliate & Partner Disclosure
LandlordPro has paid partnerships with several companies whose products we link to from our software and website. This page is our full, plain-English disclosure of those relationships — who they are, how we earn, and how we keep our recommendations honest.
1. Why we disclose
The Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and the FTC Act require that any "material connection" between an endorser and the company whose product they endorse be disclosed clearly and conspicuously. An affiliate commission is a material connection. This page — together with the short "(affiliate link)" labels next to the links themselves, and the brief notice on our interstitial redirect page — is how we meet that obligation.
2. Our current affiliate partners
These are the active relationships as of April 2026. We update this list within 14 days of any new partnership being added or an existing one ending.
LegalZoom
LegalZoom offers LLC formation, registered-agent services, business compliance, estate planning, and access to business attorneys. We link to LegalZoom from several places in the app (most notably the properties page, the court package, the eviction timeline, and the lease wizard). LandlordPro earns a commission if you sign up for a qualifying LegalZoom service through one of our links.
Kiavi
Kiavi is a non-QM lender for real-estate investors. We link to Kiavi from the Deal Analyzer when a deal's financing model matches Kiavi's lending box. LandlordPro earns a commission if you close a loan with Kiavi after clicking through.
Choice Home Warranty
Choice Home Warranty offers home-warranty plans that cover major systems and appliances. We show a contextual "Get a Free Quote" banner on the Repairs & Maintenance page for landlords who are managing a high volume of repair tickets, where a warranty plan may lower future repair costs. CJ Affiliate's search policy prohibits us from bidding on Choice's brand terms. Choice does not operate in California or Washington, and our links are suppressed for users in those states.
Beagle (Corgi / Security Deposit Replacement)
Beagle powers our optional Security Deposit Replacement addendum. If a landlord enables Beagle on a lease and the tenant enrolls, LandlordPro may receive a per-lease referral fee. The cost of the program is paid by the tenant as a monthly premium and is always disclosed to the tenant in the lease addendum they sign.
Tenant Screening (RentPrep / TransUnion SmartMove)
Our tenant-screening feature resells consumer reports sourced through RentPrep and TransUnion SmartMove. LandlordPro's price for a screening report includes a margin over the wholesale cost we pay. This is disclosed at the point of purchase.
3. How the redirect ("/go/") pages work
When you click an affiliate link inside the LandlordPro app or on this website, you are typically routed through an intermediate "/go/" page on our domain. That page:
- Tells you which partner you are being sent to
- Repeats the affiliate-commission disclosure in a short, visible form
- Waits a few seconds for you to read it (or gives you a Continue button)
- Then forwards you to the partner's site via the network's tracking URL
You can always cancel from that page and return to where you were. The redirect page is excluded from search indexing (noindex, nofollow).
4. How we use affiliate revenue
Affiliate commissions are a secondary revenue source for LandlordPro. Our primary revenue is subscription fees. Commissions help us keep our subscription pricing lower than larger competitors and fund ongoing product work.
5. Editorial independence
Specifically:
- We do not accept payment to write a positive review.
- We do not allow partners to edit, pre-approve, or veto our content.
- Where we compare LandlordPro to a competitor, we are honest about where the competitor is better and where we are better.
- Where a competitor is a better fit for a reader, we say so — even if we have no affiliate relationship with them.
6. What "affiliate link" means on our pages
When you see "(affiliate)", "(sponsored)", "(partner link)", or a similar marker next to a link, that link is one we earn a commission from. Plain links without that marker are not affiliate links.
7. Questions or corrections
If you spot a link that should be labeled as an affiliate link and isn't — or if any partner on this page is no longer current — please email hello@getlandlordpro.com and we will update the disclosure within 7 business days.
