Can I change plans anytime?
Yes! Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Your data is never deleted when you downgrade.
What's the difference between Pro and Investor?
Pro gives you the full leasing, syndication, repairs, and legal notices toolkit. Investor adds eviction timeline with deadline tracking, the tenant records bundle PDF with an AI-drafted records summary, the vendor ad marketplace, advanced portfolio reports, and Bank Sync included at no extra cost. Pro users can preview eviction tools before upgrading. Note: tenant screening is pay-per-use and available on all plans.
What does "Preview" mean for eviction tools on Pro?
Pro users can explore the eviction timeline and tenant records bundle features to see exactly what they'll get. When you're ready to download the records bundle PDF or use the AI records summary, you'll be prompted to upgrade to Investor.
How does tenant screening work? Do I need an account?
No account required. Visit our screening page, enter your applicant's info, choose a package starting at $—, and pay via card. We email your applicant a consent link — once they authorize, the report runs and results come to you. If you're a new user (or a lapsed free-tier user), you'll also earn a free 30-day Pro trial on your first screen — one per account per rolling 12-month period, not stackable with paid plans. Existing LandlordPro users can also run screens directly from the tenant dashboard.
How does Bank Sync work?
Bank Sync connects your bank account via Stripe Financial Connections to automatically import transactions, detect mortgage payments, and categorize expenses for Schedule E. Do monthly AI credits roll over? When do credits expire?
Purchased credit packs never expire — once you buy them, they stay on your account forever. Included plan credits (the free monthly allotment that comes with Free, Starter, Pro, and Investor) expire 12 months after they're granted, but unused credits roll over each billing cycle. Credits are used for AI receipt scanning, bank-transaction categorization, and AI records summaries.
What if I have more than 100 units?

What is AI support chat?
AI support chat is a built-in assistant available to paid subscribers directly inside the app — no need to leave what you're doing or wait for a reply. It knows every feature, how each page works, and what your subscription tier includes. Ask it anything: how to generate a lease, why a payment shows a certain status, how to set up ACH, what a notice requires. It answers instantly based on LandlordPro's own documentation. If it detects a software bug it can't explain, it routes you to a bug report with your recent activity already attached. All paid plans include AI support chat at no extra cost.
